Recently Joe the Plumber made a comment to the effect that it was gun control which led to the Holocaust--and similar events throughout history where minority groups had been wiped out after their guns had been taken away.

The liberal press didn't like Joe's comments, and widely lampooned it. 

I recall seeing someone had written something similar on Newsvine once--arguing that it was gun control that led to mass murders of one kind or another--like those that occurred in Russia and Germany.

Did Joe the Plumber read the Newsvine for this idea? What does Newsvine think?
