The Obama campaign has made astounding charges against Mitt Romney. Mitt has demanded an apology. I think Obama's claims show that he is desperate. This is strange, given that Obama seems to be doing fine in the polls.

But maybe Obama has information that we are not aware of. Maybe he knows the economy is going to slide hard between now and election day. Maybe he knows that his likelihood of re-election is poor and his only hope of re-election is to maime his opponent. To disable him.
