We bailed out Wall St., to the tune of tens of trillions of dollars.
What good did it do us?
The proportion of the work force that is long term unemployed is the highest since the Great Depression.
"We have people anxiously waiting for government funds or paychecks to clear at the end of the month so they can wait outside of a Wal-Mart shopping center at midnight to buy food once their funds clear. We have nearly 36 million Americans on food stamps and another 27 million unemployed or underemployed."
We should have spent the money on individuals, not banks.
Bank are an evil. In our society, they belong in the category of bad actors. They are frauds, and they commit fraud on the public every day.
Are they lending? No. In fact, they are doing the reverse of lending--cutting credit.
